Calder is no longer done by Rod, they wanted to change things with the setup we had and have yearly memberships... in short they were not sure what they wanted or were doing. The new track management there is very inexperienced about racing.
we used to have infield racing there, it was knocked back when we asked if we could have it back, but then we see other clubs and forums running from the infield.
So if we are going to get a discount at Calder someone needs to pick it up work out what Calder Park want, then do the work on the forums and submit lists every friday before 1 pm.
Heathcote only charge $40 for test and tune days... if you race and you usually get as many runs as you want..$40 is good value..$15 to watch..

Ok cools.... just wondering if there is anyone willing to organise these events so that forum members can have discounts and if there is anyone with any friends or people who might know the new organisers of calder park can they help wif us getting discounts and so on, the way how rod use to do it a while back...i would think that alot of people from the forums attend these drag meets and we should organise something so we are eligible for discounts.... what does everybody else think...I think it would be best negotiated with someone who know the new management and have a connection with them...cheers...

Calder is now $55 to run on Friday nights... and $20 to watch.
Should provide more than enough to fix up those pot holes

Actually...from memory last time I went I paid $55 to compete. They gave me an extra ticket. The extra ticket can be used for a passenger I think. I'm not sure if they did this by mistake or the $55 includes one 'free' passenger.
