Sorry mate, I was typing that on an iPad, so it didn't come out right.
The indicator stalk currently has the answer/hang up button on it. It looks to have been replaced (in the brochure) by the lane departure on/off button.

So in the Titanium, how do you answer a call or more importantly, hang up?

Not a bigger, but the picture is on page 7 of the brochure.

FOrd are hopeless. The website (http://www.ford.com.au/servlet/Satel...oller&site=FOA) says the Titanium gets 8 speakers, yet the brochure (page 18) says 9 speakers.

Looking at the Ford site, I use the right toggle on the steering wheel to answer the phone. I'll have to wait and see how it works, as it seems a bit tricky to be scrolling through the HMI, trying to answer a call while driving.

I'm making this more complicated than it should be, surely the HMI shows the call and pressing something on the right toggle will answer the phone. Sorted.

Well done Mickmelb!

I take it you got the hatch? Any idea when it will be delivered? Colour?

You should put some photos up when you get it. I think you'll like it, but it will be different to your Falcon.

Yep went the hatch in Ink blue, due the begining of Feb. Last time when my car wasn't ready they just gave me a brand new loaner but hopefully it will be a straight changeover this time. I almost went for a Honda Euro but the "toys" on the Mondeo won me over.

Great news Mick you must be close to be one of the first in getting one hope you are good at writing reviews.I prefer to wait a bit longer anyhow and allow any bugs to be ironed out by the very first owners so for me March is ideal if I ever make my mind up

That WhatCar review is pretty positive. Lots of 5-star ratings.
Acording to the bhp/kw convert the TDCi 163 = our 125kw TDCi...so should be a great drive.

Pity I still have my 165kw XR5, might almost buy a new MC diesel....he he he!!

There were two car carriers at anchor off Melbourne yesterday and another in dock so hopefully Mick yours in among them.

In 2007 mine hit the dealer on or about 22 December.

I reckon you'll love it Mick.

Hi Mick,
I'm just about to pay a deposit on a MC Titanium wagon. Delivery date is 28 February 2011, it will be 2010 build (it's either on the dock in Belgium or on a boat). They are getting built in belgium, and it's jsut a matter of time until they land here. There's a boat coming in, in late Jan/early Feb, and another in March.
Looking forward to getting the new vehicle, as I've driven the MC Zetec and there is a difference in the gearbox, the interior looks good, and I'm looking forward to having a wagon again.

One of the weaknesses that review mentions is no rear vents. We have the MC Zetec Diesel and it does have rear passenger vents.

Did you look at the other videos there. The wagon video looks good. It's called the 'Clipper'.

Just had a phone call from the dealer that the Mondeo Titanium Hatch is due mid April!! If this is a plot by Ford to delay the car so that they can off load the MB by saying to potential buyers that the engine and auto are the same, as the salesman just tried right now to sell me one it will backfire!!

Yep, I've got some info and my Titanium wagon will land in Melbourne in April. They are pumping out +/- 600 vehicles a day in Genk and one in two is a wagon, so they must be building all the all the Titaniums at once. And then pile all the Mondeo's onto the ship and send out here.

Because it's a Saturday night, and I'm bored, here a link to the docks and the plant: http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&t...,0.035791&z=15

Probably won't see it until late April, and with the public holidays around Easter/Anzac Day might not be until early May.

The diesel Territory will be released by then as well, and my dealer has indicated to me that if I want I can get one of those instead, as he'll be able to sell the Titanium wagon.
