Default NSW- 26/4/09 - Southern Cruise

Alright guys lets get this one going!

When: Sunday 26th April. 10.00am Meet for 10:30am Depature

Where: Loftus Oval. Princess Hwy

What:A short cruise. Down through the royal national park to Macquarie Pass and back.

Details: Start at Loftus oval, leave at 10:30am, cruise down through the royal national park, over the sea cliff bridge, through Coalcliff and stop off in Thirroul for an early lunch (I'm thinking either the Excelsior Bistro‎ or Bulli Beach cafe on Trinity row, Suggestions welcome! ).
After lunch we'll head down onto the Freeway for a short trip to Albion Park, where we'll quickly make sure we havn't lost anyone before heading up Macquarie Pass.
At the top of Macquarie pass we'll stop at the famous robertson pie shop for a quick chat and pies.
From here we'll head down Jamberoo mountain road, and back down into Albion park.
After which we'll make our way back towards Sydney via the freeway again. We'll have a quick squirt up Mt Kierra, down Picton road and down Broughton pass where we will all meet up again at Appin for our goodbyes.
Depending on how we go for time, we could go down through Douglass park, up Razorback and finish up at Narellen Maccas.

Its a fairly short run, due to Sunday afternoon traffic and roadworks on the southern freeway I've tried to avoid coming back from Albion park too late as from about 3pm-onwards its just a car park. I wanted to add Kangaroo valley in there somewhere but again traffic :(
There's a fair bit of in-between driving which I'm sorry about, but I only inteded this to be a mild relaxing sunday cruise, and I'm hoping this way we can avoid any hold ups.

Very open to feedback and suggestions, if you think we can do something better then feel free to share!

Yeah, bugger it! I'm trying to quit drinking anyway. I'm in pending the cancellation of a OH&S Blue card course on the same day. It's a very, very unpopular call at work to run it on a Sunday, esp the sunday after ANZAC day, so the chances that it gets canned are pretty good. Should see you all there with any luck.

Hey fellas, looks like I might miss this one :(
Have a Christening on the same day, down at the gong aswell. So I should be able to make most of the cruise.

So don't fear, the cruise will still go on, just getting someone informed on the route.

Its still on!

Just wanting to confirm if this is still a goer?? The 4 bangers are hungry for some B series cornflakes.

Is it double demerits on the weekend??
