Default Removal of Forsale Posts

I understand that when the item is sold the thread is removed, however a thread was removed 4min after I offered the exact amount the seller was asking for on an item, then the thread is removed. I’m not sure what to make of this situation. There is no comment regarding wether the sale was pulled

(1) as the items were sold before my post,
(2) the items are sold based on my post,
(3) the items were removed for sale for some other reason.

As a suggestion the threads rather than being immediately removed they could be closed and left there for 24hrs, as by removing the thread I am now in a predicament where I'm not sure if I am obligated to buy the item, or if it was removed prior to my offer being seen........

I think 24 hours might be the way to go before the thread is removed.

Thanks for the input Walkinshaw
