pull positive terminal off battery for x amount of time, an hour should do it
make sure to have your radio security code though

It learns as you drive.

Just go through a series of driving conditions, slow coasting, hard take off, slow take off, etc etc, it will continue to learn, but will give it a decent base line to build off.

Thanks guys! I did the reset and the idling procedure with ac on and off and in D and N

The car changed gears perfect up until I had mechanic change lower intake gasket and refurbish injectors etc so I did reset and yeh yesterday it changed gears great all day but today day 3 after reset this morning changed down gears on freeway and was holding onto gears longer so was just starting to wonder if there could be a new problem or is it the computer still learning and adjusting, how long will this take?

Thanks guys

give the reset a week, then decide if its done any good or not, will take that long for a decent learning and to usually get some fuel economy back.
