Hello all, quite some time ago,in yrs,a group of guys banded together to make xl 61-62 into a 2 door convertible,im not sure of time frame for the job, something stupid like a weekend or the like, may have been a Kiwi job,but it ended up 2dr painted white with I think blue flame effect.
Also they made fins for the rear,it looked awesome, does anyone here know of it or the webpage it was on,longshot I know, but if u dont ask,u will never find out.......cheers

Thanks redxm,that be the one........
Mainly looking at the strengtheners,is that all they used,I am going a fair bit heavier in rio,2x1 rec tube from back to front where kick panels are will also be stronger, hard to explain will post pics when im nearer to that part. As far as i can see, with the strengtheners ,there can still be a flexing at the hinge end of f/doors that also makes the w/screen drop up and down in flexing. my 2x1 will be on inside of body running along the sill inner skin,i was thinking last night that i may cut the 2x1 lengthways and should still be strong enough. Also,i realise that its early days yet strength wise, but on my car, when roof was removed, there was still a fair bit of flex happening on door pillar in middle,I have also got strengthener across from door to door . Your thoughts would be appreciated..........And thanks for link
