Geez, my book is at my son's place in Sydney at the moment. Sorry, I forgot I didn't have it. Anyhow, I finally was able to contact him today and he has looked up the schematics. Not a lot of joy unfortunately.

There is no plain white wire that he can find - and he looked on his car as well and couldn't find one.

Could the red/yellow stripe possibly be red/white stripe? The colours do change with age. Anyhow there is no red/yellow, but red/white is water temp sender.

Black with blue stripe can't be found.

Red with blue stripe is starter wire.

Sorry I can't help any further.
