I have 1 photo of it, just after I hosed it to get all the dust off. It's not a great photo but you get the picture.

I am a little annoyed that there are a few problems with it already, but they are only minor. I'm making a list for my first service.

I have made only 2 modifications to it so far. Because it's new I'm not going to do anything major. I took off the dealer stickers and number plate surrounds, and replaced them with plain black ones. And I took off the plastic valve caps and replaced them with silver ones.

Has anyone done anything minor to their focus? Just to make that little bit of difference.

K&N panel filter always makes that little bit of a differance in throttle feel, if you want that

Seems that silver is the colour to go with when buying a Focus. I recently bought a Silver Zetec(just gone 4 weeks old) and I love it. We also have a BA MKII GT and I actually miss my little pocket rocket when I get to drive the GT.

With the K&N Filter, how will that affect insurance, and warranty? Will it at all?

It just replaces the old one you have with a high flow filter, no modifications are made. So it should't affect your insurance or warranty at all.

Thats the link, and the part number is there. Can buy one at any Autobarn or K&N stocker. Just double check it's the correct part number for your car

How often would you need to replace the K&N filter?

Exactly what b2tf said, never. I think after about 180,000km you have to clean it with some K&N cleaning solution and re-oil it.
