Default New Toy for my Cat

I got a new toy for my cat. This is just cool.

This gauge is capable of displaying over 100 parameters, two at a time (8 using cyclic scan), at an adjustable rate of up to approximately 20 times per second. Not all are supported by every vehicle though. Cougar displays most of the important parameters. Here is some important list of parameters.
  • RPM
  • MPH
  • Intake Air Temperature (post Intercooler)
  • Ambient Air Temperature (pre Intercooler)
  • Engine Coolant Temperature
  • Exhaust Gas Temperature (PCM Calculated)
  • Transmission Temp. (auto trans)
  • Manifold Pressure (vacuum/boost) displayed in PSI
  • Fuel Temperature
  • Battery Voltage
  • Battery Temp
  • Injector Pulse Width in msec.
  • Injector Duty Cycle (%)
  • Air Flow Rate into engine
  • Long Term Fuel Trim
  • Short Term Fuel Trim
  • O2 Sensor Voltage
  • Barometric Pressure
  • Ignition Advance
  • Base Spark
  • PCM Spark Adjust
  • Fuel Status (open/closed loop)
  • Wastegate Solenoid Duty Cycle (%)
  • Knock Retard
  • Knock Sensor Raw Voltage
  • Throttle Position Percentage
  • Throttle Position Sensor Raw Volts
  • Calculated Net Horsepower
  • Engine Load
  • Transmission Slip
  • Current Transmission Gear
  • Torque Delivered to Transmission
  • Torque Converter lockup status
  • Brake pressure
  • Brake Booster Travel
  • Steering Angle
  • Non-driven Wheel Speed
  • Lateral G's
  • Yaw
  • Fuel economy (instantaneous and average)
  • P-ratio - pressure ratio MAP/Barometer
  • 2 user configurable analog inputs**

Not everything listed above will work with our cats but most of them do. The warning lights are cool. You can configure gauge so that lights go off at a particular engine rpm or temperature of knock retard or boost if you have turbo or when engine misfires.

You can get custom gauges with SVT logo or SS logo or GTO logo or silver face or silver bezel and lot of accessories.

My plan is to mount on A pillar. Once I get it, I will buy a suitable gauge pod that goes on to A pillar. I really don't want to drill holes or disturb trim in anyway.

Yeah, thats pretty damn cool, awesome idea having it plug straight into the port! I'm sure you will, but when you install it make sure you put some pics up.
