Trump will be dead in a week should he actually "drain the swamp" and abolish the Fed. If he wasn't originally a puppet of the establishment, he's become one and as such, he'll play his part in the destruction of the US republic.

Perhaps Comey and the FBI and the Attorney General had more information than you?

And Fox News.

Na, life will go on as per usual.

The intelligence community have been sceptical of Trump since he announced he was running. Comey taking notes is sheer proof of this.

Trump will only hear what the intelligence community want him to hear. (i.e. they will be our filter for anything we pass.)
A number one reason he is a lame duck president.

Any idiot should know that real power lies with the military/intelligence. Trump's ego wouldn't enable him to entertain this thought though.

The end is nigh: Trump declares Melbourne Bunnings meat-free sausage sizzles are a threat to christian values! :

On Thursday evening, Trump fanned the flames of controversy once more when he stated that another group of people should be subject to criminal sanctions: vegans. In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Trump stated that those who eschew meat, dairy, eggs, and other animal products “should be thrown in jail.”

“That type of diet is a threat to the American way of life,” Trump said. “We’re a Christian country, a pro-life country, and a meat-and-potatoes country. We’re supposed to go forth and multiply and eat our meat. That’s how it’s done in America.”

Excerpt:
Quote:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 372.82 points on Wednesday, bringing the giddy post-election rally of the past few months to a screeching halt as President Donald Trump battles for his political future in the face of calls for his impeachment.

It's the first time since Trump's election that the market has turned its back on — or at least given the cold shoulder to — the commander in chief, and a clear indication of waning confidence in the president's ability to focus on fulfilling his key promises of tax reform, deregulation, and investment in infrastructure.

Trump’s grip on Presidency depends on deliberations of a US Senate judicial sub-committee on Russia

Donald Trump calls it “the Russian thing” and it is sending him on a slope to possible impeachment.

The “thing” is an accumulation of claims he has dark personal, financial and political connections with Russia which continued through the election campaign.

The President is in danger of charges he has interfered with the course of justice with heavy-handed interventions which continue to preoccupy his administration.

All to cover up the connections.

Trump Throws A Humiliating Tantrum And Whines To Coast Guards Grads About Being Treated Unfairly

President Donald Trump seemed to lose interest mid-way through his commencement address to the United States Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut Wednesday and turned to talk about his own plight.

After saluting the work and service of the U.S. Coast Guard, Trump turned to complain that he was being persecuted by the media.

He went on to tell the cadets that he personally has been treated so unfairly.

“No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly,” Trump said.

Keep in mind that these same discredited media outlets gave Obama a pass when he laundered $1.7 billion in cash and delivered it to Iran on a military cargo plane.

They are the same fake news media that looked the other way when Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch on the tarmac in a private meeting to pressure Lynch to back off any potential criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton’s long list of crimes.

They are the same anti-American media that said nothing when Hillary Clinton cheated during the presidential debates by receiving the debate questions in advance from CNN. (She also pre-sold her anticipated presidency by collecting tens of millions of dollars in “donations” and “speaking fees” from foreign interests.)

They are the same media that stood silent when former President Obama weaponized the IRS to suppress the speech of conservative non-profits. Similarly, nobody in the media seems to be alarmed at all that Obama abused the state surveillance apparatus to spy on his political opponents such as Rand Paul.

Only the fools are believing fake news sources.

Republicans need to screw up their courage and tell Trump to go

Republicans who have been incorrigible in their defense of the indefensible are suddenly showing glimmers of self-respect.

On Tuesday night, Fox News, which performs the same function for this White House as RT (Russia Today) does for the Kremlin, was reporting that it couldn’t find any Republicans willing to defend Trump in public.

Let us hope this is not just a temporary aberration, as was the case when the “Access Hollywood” videotape was released in October, with craven partisans first un-endorsing and then re-endorsing the genital-grabber.

The worst job in Washington right now: Working for Trump

As Donald Trump has grown increasingly angry and frustrated with his White House staff, the beleaguered targets of his ire have a quietly roiling gripe of their own — their boss, the president himself.

And in his wake remain his exhausted aides and deputies, the frequent targets of Trump’s wrath as they struggle to control an uncontrollable chief executive and labor to explain away his stumbles.

But his team is growing increasingly weary. Privately, they say, the problem is not an incompetent communications shop, as the president sometimes gripes, or an ineffectual chief of staff, as friends and outside operatives repeatedly warn, but the man in the Oval Office, whose preferred management style is one of competing factions and organized chaos.

One West Wing official recently stopped defending Trump or trying to explain away his more controversial behavior. Another characterized the operation as “trudging along,” with aides trying to focus their attention on Trump’s upcoming foreign trip and the budget landing next week.

Ari Fleischer, former White House press secretary under George W. Bush, said the president has created a situation where his team is increasingly unlikely to succeed.

“It’s torture — torture because of everything that is happening externally, but it’s also torture because of how divided the White House is internally,” Fleischer said of the challenges that Trump’s staff faces now. “It makes it very hard to keep your head up and do your job.”

If it confirms what you believe it is true; if it does not, it is fake.

It's as simple (and simplistic) as that.

Notice that the people who proclaim the loudest about fake news tend to complain about established, reputable media outlets. Then they cite YouTube videos as "truth."

One has to question the repute of established media outlets more than any youtube "news" outlets because of one simple fact. They are owned by people and organisations that have become very wealthy as a result of the status quo prevailing for so many decades. The status quo has persisted in large part because of the news they have presented, in terms of what they actually report and how they report it. Their relevance and dare I say it, their very existence has never been threatened prior to the 21st century. This is because the few genuine alternative news sources never had an audience. However with the proliferation of youtube and its peers, they finally had a voice.

However, these alternatives are outnumbered by dodgy outlets, some out and out digital tabloids, some disinformation sites paid for and maintained by the very mainstream media. As such, the voice of the alternatives becomes lost in a sea of blather and digital detritus.

In short, anyone with a modicum of critical thinking and reasoning can see that the mainstream media isn't telling the whole story when it comes to Trump.
