well it depends on the marketing... and how much interest is generated...
I'd like to see at least 100 cars (i'm going to market it to local clubs and possibly diversify it and get the skyline and supra club involved and possibly even commodores for a bit of rivalry... hahaha) turnout is not guarranteed...

if over 100 cars show up thats alot of people bringing money into a small town, im sure the council loves that and wouldnt mind having it a yearly occurance if all goes well and alot of people show up

Looks like XTC 190 has early clearance for attending the get together, but confirmation has to be obtained as I will be leavin her to drive the crappy sigma for probably 4 days

you mean the one and only car wash... its got a whole 5 car wash bays with one of those being the automatic car wash and the end one having an elevated platform for F series trucks and vans and such...

I think we will have to, just driving to bathurst my car was filthy, although admittedly i did stay at a camping site a coupla days after it stopped raining every day..
you do get a nice sheet of bug guts on the way

I reckon its a good Idea and would love to go.... Need to arrange a convoy from Brissy though.. Need plenty of notice (for time off etc) but I am dead set keen. I reckon the missus would love to be rid of me for a while!

dates might have to be moved. Just got to negotiate with the local car club because their show and shine was scheduled for 3 weeks after the date we set. If we can tie 'em together it'd be great...

i booked in for the 19th fri off work i go back on the 29th, im hoping to go visit some mates in nsw and bris in the extra time, is there a discussion topic already up for us to plan convoys to/from as i'll be hoping to convoy with the melb crew to parkes and another crew up to sydney afterwards... also have we got any information about accommodation (phone numbers, prices, star rating, proximity to cbd, proximity to car show n shine location, car parks off/on street, undercover/etc etc)..........

Ok guys... going to meet up(finally) with the local club and discuss the date... hope people are still interested and dedicated to this... if all works out I'll get an FG XR8 to Show up and a FG F6 (which should have been released by then) from one of the local dealerships...
If anyone has any suggestions for me to take to the local club.. now is the time to let me know...

I have the approval for the 20-21st of September from the local car club... They are happy for us to go under their banner... I will organise a new flyer by the end of tomorrow... Listing of categories to be listed by the end of tomorrow as well...

Plenty of accommodation around.
Guys I have my first quote back on trophies... It doesn't sound right, but for 22 of the following (the trophy on the far left) is apparently $65 including engraving... Let me know what you think...
