6g thats bit far. i put mine on the dyno to see when th emost power hits so know when to change at. on mine is bout 5200 i just got to lift the steerin wheel up so i can see what speed and when to change lol

What power were you making at the rear wheels? I wanted to put mine on a dyno before I did any mods. But I never got around to it.
How low do you have your steering wheel? I've always have mine adjusted so I can see the speedo and tacho. It would drive me nuts not knowing.

not puttin out much power at all i have my wheel down as low a it goes co i dont have to reach so far.

I just got a picture of a smurf standing on the seat reaching for the wheel.

I was driving past Elite Automotive today and decided to drop in and throw my car on the dyno. I wanted to dyno my car before I did any mods just to get a base figure. :togo: Whoops!

If swanny could rip a 1.8/1.9 60 footer and hit his gears changes spot on with the mods as he stands he should get a 13.9 possibly 13.8, plus a little more experience on the 1/4 will help him as well, go hard guys, dam i wish i could get out there

Remember
Just to change gear at 200 rpm under your limit
just have to work out your take off(havent driven a manual for a while)

I used line up get so clutch grabs and put revs around 2000 odd and then release and accelarate at same time on last orange light which hit green on go, but as I said havent run a manual for a while and the XR8 may be totally different ball game than a rotor

You will have fun in any case

If you think you are going to stuff up you probably will. You have to be more positive than that. Its not as hard as you think it is. I think you will do fine. Just don't let any of the n/a 6 boys beat you!

Oh so now your chickening out. ah well one less 6 boy to beat and i know. i was at garden city when i called you back and then i had to clean car thats no where enough time for that. and i took so long getting ready that night for change haha. took me like a hour. then i wouldve had to change my wheels. and yeah i did get drunk later on that night
