My latest contribution, gasses out the back shed and gives you a mild headache before you even clunk it into gear, still love it and will be back on the road in another month

Chuggga, Chugga??....... More like VAAAAAAARRRROOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!! 10.7@131mph, in full street trim. i.e. pump fuel, through full exhaust, air filter on, with street suspension (no 90/10 shocks , caltracs etc.etc.) and there is more coming.

If you drove an Aluminium V8 P76 auto you would like it
You can fit a 44 in the boot ,
Power steering quite fast

I like dirty old sixes , to me they are the real ford engine
I saw a good picture of Henry and Tom Edison and Harvey Firestone together , I will try and post it

The engine ???

Mind V8's don't "need to be" stinking or guzzling...

The ratty is a mild 351 clevo with tamer 2 inch dual pipes for street use and a 4 speed single rail with highway gears.
I like the look of the P5 front. One car I'd like to get one day is a P5 LTD.... custom exhaust system of course.

Well I've had lots of them over the years. None went chug a chug, none used 30/100 k's well maybe if I was in a real hurry and I've yet to find a turbo snot box that goes like that.
A well tunes 8 can even get good fuel consumption in the country on a quiet night when no ones looking, ok they could hear the thing miles away.

If it's a cranky EFI Windsor, is it still dirty old and stinkin?

Love old V8s of any brand or make.
My dream car is a '69 Mustang Mach 1.
Hopefully in a couple of years I'll get one. Though the engine may be swapped out for a more modern V8.

Stinkin' - yes
Thumping - sorta
Guzzling - yes
V8 - yes

Smokey - yes (Even with a sump full of Wynns Stop Smoke)

Love it - yes

You need the V8 to run the power steering, air conditioning, electric windows and the cassette player.
