Finally, I got my coupe!
This was for sale for a short while on carsales last year, picked her up for a good price, she was said to be not driven for a while, makes sense 'cause Im replacing a lot of stuff! Most gaskets (driveline) and rubbers are being replaced as we speak.
460(big block), straight LPG, C6 1800, (factory) 9" 2.75.
Looking forward to throwing rediculous amounts of cash that I don't really have into her, 'cause... Why wouldn't you!

Anyone know how to shrink them down with out shrinking the outcome down?
I'll get them up ASAP.
I'm Looking forward to getting right into it, There's plenty of solid support on this site too! More power to the Aussie Coupe! I could put 50k into her without blinking!
Anyone got any money lying around?

You'd know about that too! Prob a bit more than me though!
How funny is that! People almost crash their cars!
I've dropped the exhaust at the diff, 3inch pipes, 5inch collector, custom made headers and exhaust, it sets off car alarms just idling past! Very satisfying!
I will appologise for the last few efforts of downloading, kinda like watching someone surf for the first time!
Common comments: ! that's awesome... what is it! Even from people of that era!
Looking forward to becoming a little more familiar with the site

Its good to know so many Landaus out there! Amazing seeing that even 6 years or so ago when doing research on mine to fix ..... I could barely find a picture or any info. Walk into any resto shop then and they would laugh when you mentioned a Landau.

2 Comments that account for 99% of converstaions at petrol stations ......
What is it? ....... or ........ Havn't seen one of those for years!

I promise you one thing.. The engine will not be this colour for long!
When quizzing him (old owner- great guy) on the choice of colours, he just laughed and said "doesn't matter, it's a big block!"

I believe it does!

Engine's coming out in a month, respray and a freshen up, all seals and gaskets, rings and bearings and probably a cam. It has rollers and some porting done (apparently) I will get down to detail if someone wants to help with the numbers, I want her to do OK on the freeway, not revving too hard, but she must be FUN on the road! No track time, just fun cruizing and scaring people! And of course burnouts!
Gear box for a stage II and a clean.
Maybe a bigger stall (1800 at moment)
Diff is factory, it's getting Detroit truetrac with 3.5:1 and a bearing kit.
The gas system has a 750cfm on it! with an offenhauser high rise and two gas convertors (excuse my mistakes with the details)
I'm tipping I can put at least a 1050 on with the current set-up.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Not complaining, it's just funny!
