Look how bad everyone feels for Jared. I really have to point this out. This could happen to anyone and everyone here. I hope you all take that extra care now, I have heard from Cranners that the wreck was driven past the Baysie Mini Meet so I'm sure it would've been a bit of a wake-up call for all the boys down there too.

These things can happen in a quick flash, and I've know of many who've had stacks like these and only barely survived from luck.

People arc up at me when I tell them to take it easy, so those people should think twice now too. It's not just you who gets injured in the crash, think of how it may affect your family and those closest to you.

Not insinuating he was doing anything wrong, just want to say to take extra care.

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said within this thread, but I wish DAFISH the best... Its not good to hear about things like this happening to anyone, let alone a member.

As Sunny, said... Be carefull on the roads, its easy to slip up in a matter of microseconds, thats all it takes.

These days Jared's username is UltralowED, but he still has the DAFISH numberplates

Hearing that he went via air ambulance certainly isn't promising. Get well soon, Jared.

yeah i was at the baysie meet when i heard the news i dont personally know the guy buy my thoughts are with him, his family and anyone that knows him..
generally if someone if airlifted to hospital they will skip the locals (lilydale/Maroondah) and go straight to one of the main city ones.

hopefully he is okay as the guys were saying the car was pretty messed up. :(

posting for a mate and mod on vss:

"guys, as a mod on vss im speaking on behalf of the whole club, our thoughts and best wishes are with his family and i hope he recovers very soon. As it was i was on my way to the vss mini meet and saw bayswater road blocked off, after coming back onto baysie road damo and myself saw the ambo on the footy feild next to chopper about to lift him to hospital, we also saw the car drive past on the tow truck and the two drivers side doors were cut off. was a very serious accident and i really hope he is ok. But all of Vss thoughts are with you mate"

the more you read it, you realise how dangerous the road can be and why the rules ar there and also cars are like perviages ( if that how you spell it).

My wishes goes out to Da Fish or UltralowED and his family and fellow friends of us. Whoever can keep us update even if it when we are our cruise, it would be great to hear some good news while we are on the roads

This is gut-wrenching news.

Well said Sunny. Life's much too precious and it always pays to take that extra little bit of care; whether it's being more patient or double-checking to make sure things are safe.

Prayers are with him and his family. I hope he pulls through.

When (I'm an optimist) he pulls through he'll finally be able to get that skyline at least.

My thoughts are with him today, poor guy :(

damn, that aint good news at all. I knew he was in a bad state, as it seemed to have happened like 10 mins before i drove past, and he was still in the drivers seat.
Does anyone know how it happened aswell, because its just a two way road there. As a guestimate, the 4WD may have been turning right onto scoresby rd from one of the side st, and perhaps dafish was going along scoresby and nailed into him???

As has been said, definately not good news and really hope he's alright and makes a full recovery quickly, but doesn't sound good.
And very well said Sunny.

Sounds more like the 4WD t-boned him Rips, unless I've misread what you're posting and you're saying the same thing as me. Then again you're an eyewitness, I'm not
