That's the one I spotted - such a nice looking ride!

I really love the look of them. That alone should get more people into them over the Polo GTI ;)

I'm impressed to hear the steering in the XR4 is a hydralic/electro system - pretty flash! Similar to that found in the XR5T. Great feedback on the limits...

That's not the XR4 from Parra?

Congrats buddy.

Knew it would happen sooner or later!

I'm sure you will enjoy it. Will be a huge jump, in styling and also the fact you are heading from Auto to Manual will add to that increase in performance!

The black XR4 looks great, but imo lighter colours bring out the look of the bodykits better.

Had a look at one tonight myself. White with blue stripes, I think red would look better. Nice seats & a shorter gearlever, just what my Zetec is missing. Didn't have time to take it for a drive, but the salesman was more enthusiastic about euro fords than most.
Did talk to a lady who was picking up her new black Zetec, parked next to my dirty old tango. Must give it a wash before I head to Melbourne next week.

Congratulations Damo

You shouldn't have too much trouble with the manual. When we bought my wife's manual Fiesta she had never driven manual before, but she picked it pretty easily ;)

Around the block doesnt cut it...
Tell the salesman you'll buy him a beer at Norton Summit if he'll accompany you up there - via Castambul, Montacute and Ashton.

Just watch your licence....

It's hardly run in yet. I got mine at about 3500klm and now done about 10,000klm. It gets smoother, but I rather like the howl of 6000+ rpm.
