Oh, and I doubt there is much XC coupe in that thing, it looks like a tube frame race car at the front? |

The metalwork involed in this coupe is amazing. Destroyed a coupe? I can't even try to imagine the amount of coupes that I have personaly seem wind up at Sims Metal because the owners couldn't justify the price of body work. He may have started with a reasonable body but the amount of work he has put in to making it what it is today - floorpan, boot, chassis - it is not really a Ford offering any more except in shape. However - because of the metal work he has done it will be around for a long long time. Destroying a classic? I think not -> it is now a time capsule for 2011
I don't like the minamalistic interior but the car is certainly going to be on the money for SMOTY and because it is built to cruise in the states and not be a show pony - I give it top marks.

Amazing car but I reckon it looked tougher (in a Mad Max sought of way) as bare metal.
Hopefully the Americans love it.

Oh they'll love it...unfortunately with that left hand drive steering wheel, they'll mostly just think it's a modified Torino or something else of Yank manufacture...still waiting to see an explanation as to why he did that......leaving it right hand drive would give it a "hey what's that thing?" factor when people walk by...
