Hi all, Wouldnt mind coming down for a look, sounds like fun. Am currently a member of the e-series folk, and with my other car the capri turbo, might just take a run down there to see what all the fuss is about!

Do we need to knock up a list of who will be attending under the Euroford Club banner to give to Vista 75?

I am no good at organising these things, but...here's the start of the list

A list of club members planning on attending based on comments in this thread is as follows, as per Melbzetec's idea:

Melbzetec
vista75
zetec
ozmondeo (hopefully)
OZST24
FOCUSonTHIS (planning on taking best Focus from Matt)
xurbanx (hopefully, 40% at last check)
The MaddestMan (though no Euroford)
azza1 (90%)
nash777
used (if he doesn't have to work)
Focal Jet (who should enter with 18s and intake)
XR6Stu
Danny
efgoofy

Matt, I still have to get you the club banner for the day. I'll talk to you soon about sending it down.

Shall we organise a meeting place and time, so we can all meet up before we get there and cruise there together?

Oddly enough that is the location I was thinking of, shall we decide on a time a bit closer to the event, or now?

Obviously before 10:30, or else no McMuffins, LOL!

Since there isn't a thread in the normal Vic event section, I will list myself here. I should be there with my new Escort

Small Ford Sunday 2006

Sunday February 5th, 2006

Bundoora Park, Plenty Rd. Bundoora Victoria

Melway Map 19

Gates open from 8.30am - Judging entries close at 12pm - Presentation 3pm
$10 entry fee per car - includes entrant pack with SFS2006 sticker
and free entry into the giant show and shine awards!

Small Ford Sunday is proudly supported by

Shannons Insurance * Ford Motor Company Australia * Rare Spares

Donnellons Motor Body Works Hawthorn * Australian Classic Car Magazine

Yesterford * Lions Club Reservoir * Caffe Alfresco

OK, so plan is to meet at McDonalds at let's say 7:30am, it's just literally around the corner on the corner of Plenty Rd and Dunne St. We'll have the obligatory cruise breakfast, then we'll make a club entrance into the Park just 2 minutes away and park together, in vehicle types for best effect. We'll have the club banner which I'll arrange from Tim and we will have one damn hot looking display!!!

There will be Team RS hats for sale to club members, $10 each, with all proceeds going toward raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) that many of you may remember from my previous merchandise sales. It would be fantastic for all to purchase one and wear as a club, they're quite smart indeed! Can all current members with a cap please bring it along as part of our push to be sun smart!!!

Remember to wash that car, maybe give it a polish and a good interior clean so it's looking it's best! Anyone wanting to display their engine bay is also recommended to give it a decent clean, there'll be many SHINY examples from some of the older cars, don't want all the new Eurofords looking shabby now!!

I'm really looking forward to this, hopefully we'll pull a few more awards this year, but all up it's a sensational day, no big Fords in sight, just lots of fun, small hot Fords. It's different, it's unique and it's really really fun. This may yet be our biggest club event!

So far our interested members are (Thanks to Tim's list):
Melbzetec
vista75
zetec
ozmondeo (hopefully)
OZST24
FOCUSonTHIS (planning on taking best Focus from Matt) (No chance : )
xurbanx (hopefully, 40% at last check)
The MaddestMan (though no Euroford)
azza1 (90%)
nash777
used (if he doesn't have to work)
Focal Jet (who should enter with 18s and intake)
XR6Stu
Danny
efgoofy

That leaves still a few of us, like Resty!!!! We wanna see that hot hot Zetec mate!

All up, let's have a great day, I seriously recommend you bring some cold water, sunscreen, a hat, a collared shirt for neck protection and most of all, your camera for some sensational photos!!

See you there :eclipsee_

Matt my car won't be fixed by then, but I will still enter it in because the damage you can hardly see. But I bet the judges will still pick it up. Bloody guy is denying everything now and it's hard to get my car fixed unless I want to pay the $950, which I really don't want to loose that amount of cash.

Some very good advice there, I can't stress highly enough how right Matt is with the advice there regarding bringing some water or other drink and being sun-smart on the day - I'm sure everyone who was there last year remembers just how red we all ended up by the end of the day...

And yes, don't forget your cameras, make sure you have plenty of film (for those of you using old-school cameras), and/or plenty of space on your cameras - if you've never been before, you may be suprised to see just how many fantastic photos can be taken on the day.

May I also suggest taking some spare $$$ along with you too - there are often many things that EuroFord fans will be interested in there that you'll kick yourself if you miss out on.

I'm looking forward to the day, should be a fantastic day out like it has been every year!
