Same Im trying to put some up now but not having any luck. More importantly its got footage of our coupe before it was painted. Found some photos of my dads old XT at the drags too. Nothing to get too excited about ran 14 flat all day long. but on the street felt like it was a really quick car. Got into the 13s and still had 2;7 gearing or something like that. Will put them up soon.

Now thats what I'm talking about!! I used to drive that car ever weekend until that little miss hap on the gas at the track when the rear UNI decided to **** it self shifting into top gear, Tailshaft belting the floor and smashing the powerglide case. thats when the car came off the road and 10 years later GTP owners (jason Lemon) XA was born. Here is my dads XT.

My friends XTGT. Yes that's Michael Cranks old XT. This was back when Michael had it and was running for SA fastest street car with 10 sec time slips. My mate bought it with a different motor in it but ended up getting in 11.8 out of her.

Growing up with my dad and his XT-Rs, Mike and gary watson were like Idols to us. Just in love their cars.

Hey Phil, is this your old girl. Its an old photo. I know it is because it was cut up to fit into my photo album when I was a littley.

Went thru my collection and found some old shots from the late 80s and early 90's from AIR. Just loading them into my photobucket account. Stay tuned.

Makes you wonder what all those dudes are doing with those cars now, Sold, sitting in a shed, half way between Adelaide and Heathcote. who knows.

Few ruined classics there in my opinion. That Vette looks like a gangrenous wound. Although having said that I'm guessing back then they were worth a pitance compared to now.

Was talking to Cob 115 about this the other day, cars back then were worth nothing. My old boss at Jaycar has a section out of an XB GT's roof patching up his shed roof.

My question is lads............What happened?? how did it all fall apart????
One person ruin it for everyone?????

Shame us young bloods will probably never see it or own a classic

P.s MOAR PICS!!!!

Smally Thank you so much. Awesome pics. So many cars there Ive forgotten about. Great shots too.
Where are they now? Would be interesting to find out.
I know the Granny is now in different colours.
Ive heard the owner of Mr Ed promises to bring it out one day.
The Gold XTGT of Micks is now a champagne colour with convos.
Im pretty sure the Monaro belongs to a fello that I used to work at Holdens. He stopped racing after he broke into the 10s and didnt want to install a cage. Im just going to check the rego plate on an old pic. Im pretty sure thats the one.

Wicked Photos, Wicked memories

[QUOTE=xbrulesLove that Picture of Mr Ed. awesome Coupe[/QUOTE]

I remember a run between Mr Ed and the Aguis HK/T/G(?) both cars did a huge wheels up launch side by side. Spewing I never got a pic of that!

In 2001 Ed Vodopivec started working at the Ford Dealership I worked at. I introduced myself and then had a go at him for all the 35mm film he cost me over the years!
