If that is the XR then that is one of the best looking XR Falcons ever (EL aside).
makes the current FG2 look very old hat.

Interesting to see the G6E.

The corporate look suits well.

How hard is it really not to leak something? I mean really, the last two have been full blown blonde moments.

The odd photo escaping is fine...but really?

Surely they couldn't make the same exact mistake 1 month apart?

Gotta be a marketing ploy to get people talking a bit tonight for the big reveal tomorrow.

What an awesome send off the Falcon will have, a car that will be remembered for generations to come

Yeah an embargo. Well in this day and age of the Internet, they don't need to send press kits out until 1 minute after Ford reveal it themselves.

Yeah I guess its just laziness on the reporters part, they must write the article, link it all up and then press the Go button.

Obviously dubious that they have enough talent to not stuff it up. Atleast the GTF was done by FPV..LOL

And put files on websites ready to just 'turn on' a link when the embargo lifts. Sometimes the new guy down in IT gets it wrong.....

I think it looks great. I'm thinking Smoke with GTF style black stripes.
And if all the Brembo and R-Spec suspension and fat rubber is true the XR8 is one impressive automobile.
But if I was buying one I would be a little concerned about running costs.
Supercharged V8 = thirsty
Brembo = expensive brakes
275 tyres = costly burnouts

Luckily I hardly do any kays at all now so it wouldn't bother me a whole heap. I'm also a ford dealer mechanic(I'm sorry) so should get a reasonable deal on parts
Anyone else concerned with running costs?

It’s too early for Ford Australia to reveal the technology, equipment, pricing and — crucially — the name for the new car. Even so, we can confirm it will not wear BFII badges and the XR models will come with a paddle-shift automatic for the first time.

Paddle shifts seemed confirmed and no bf badges.
