After speaking to a local specialist locksmith two keys and new transponder are required. He is saying about $900. He pays a bit for original keys. But due to the daughter finding key in washing machine l have an idea. If I cut the head of the remaining key off and jb weld it up behind the ignition barrel cover the non chipped keys will work. Thoughts. Considering the car is probably only worth the replacement cost of keys.

has to be a cheaper option than 900. sorry I do not know it but 900 is a rip off, curious as to why you would require 2 keys, especially in 1999 |
