Default E- Petitions

Here is something I didn't know, the QLD government has an E-Petition site where you can add your voice to a petition. Weather or not they are taken any notice of is probably a different matter and of course they will scew the results to suit themselves but it's another way of showing how you feel. On the motoring side there is one to stop people complaining about noise from motorsport facilities when new estates open up nearby. Australia has lost a few of their tracks due to development and noise restrictions don't help. If you move into an estate next to a track why should you then be able to complain about the noise? There are others, about 20, you can lend your name to. Looking through it is surprising the amount of people who have voted for certain topics or not.
Anyone know if other states have the same thing?
