Default Metallica

Man what an awesome night it was last night!

Metallica rocked Rod Laver Arena.

It was good to see them play so many old-school classics!!!!

Anyone else go? Got any pics or clips?

There's this pic on their facebook page:

Really jealous of the people who went last night. I bought ticks for November, before they announced the extra September shows. Still 2 months to wait! The set list from last night looked awesome. Sanitarium, Seek and Destroy...hope I get to hear those.

No they didn't, I too love this song, however they would have to play for 12hours straight to play all the songs i love, thats the problem there are just so many great metallica songs.

If i remember correctly they didnt play anything off garage inc, could be wrong though, pretty sure not disc one at least.

so yes, it is on Garage Inc, but I wouldn't say its off Garage Inc.

Last night they played Helpless, and damn well I must say.

I went on Wednesday. (22 years since I saw them at their 1 show at festival hall in 1988)

Was a fan for years.
Moved away when "Load" came out. Totally gave up when "Reload" reared it's head.
Came back with the new album.

Interesting to note that only 1 song from my "away" period was played on Wednesday (Fuel)
