Default Focus Zetec + iPod??

Hi All,
Just bought a 2006 LS Zetec Focus (pick up on Wednesday) after trading in a 2004 Territory (looking forward to saving $$$$$ on the fuel bills!!!).
I was wondering if the Focus is iPod friendly or do I need to have something installed?
Cheers
Lee

yes, it is, you just need a male-male 3.5mm stereo jack. it plugs into the aux port in the glovebox at the top. then just push the "aux" button on the HU and you're set!

I'm amazed that you weren't told that either when you purchased the car (by the salesman) or during delivery!!!

Seriously amazed in fact. It's a big feature!

I'm an ex-salesman myself and that kind of stuff would never have missed my radar.

Like if you'd come from a TS Territory (for example) I'd assume you wanted the optional 6-stacker and ask you at purchase time as part of the discussion. This would then have prompted you to either gladly agree or state you used MP3 instead, leading me to tell you about Focus' MP3 feature.... you see my point.

I'd look at the vehicle you were coming from and discuss with you any features you were going to lose to ensure you were aware to minimise any possible negative impact, despite positive aspects such as improved fuel economy...

I still can't believe you never knew!! (Not criticising you at all, just the fact it seems you weren't told!)

Can't really fault the salesman as it was a used car (although with very little use!!).
I just wasn't sure if I needed to purchase anything extra to connect (like the Aux plug & cable for the Territory).
Cheers

Ahhh Used Salesman. Explains everything!

Nope, all you need is the male to male plug.

Thanks!
Our first run was down the south coast (NSW) and the round trip had it at 6.1L/100km which I was extremely happy with (after 12-14L/100km in the Territory!!!)
