Default Exhaust Tips Pictures

Hey guys...

In the next few weeks I'll be looking at getting an exhaust for the au. I'm after aome pics of different tips. I'm thinking just a 3 inch dumper but not too sure.

Any pictures would be awesome.

cheers

while waiting for an xr6 ute (we had just converted the ute to LPG) at the exhaust shop the owner had asked for a twin tip on the end of his 2 1/2" system. looked really nice. all it is, is a short piece of 2 1/2" straight joined to two short 2 1/2" 45 degree chrome pieces. havent got a pic of it, but maybe one of the guys on here will.

Twin 3" Tips fill the cut out nicely, these are flush tips, you can get offset one's so they match the curve in the bumper better.

I had an oval top like yours on the car when I bought it. That rebel bar is a sey bar. You got some nice AU's at your house.

I just have a 3" dumper tip partially hidden behind the bar.
You can hear it ... but you need to literally break your neck to see it.

If I had a V8 ... I'd have a twin system ... one either side ... and dumpers hidden totally.

Nahhh ... ricers love the cannons ... just a partially hidden dump tip at the end ... like you see on a lot of the tougher vehicles.

My previous XG ute had a dump tip hidden behind the driver's side bumperette ... and sounded tough ... mmmm ED engine ... mated with 5-sp manual ... modded intake and loud exhaust ... and the best back-off burble/pop/crackle ... I miss it.

MMMM so many to choose from ... left the stock tips on my XR8 like the 4' oval on the 6s.. here"s one set we had on a 6 twin 2"3/4 S/Steel with a bit more angle looked good but not loud enough for the owner . (still in the shed going cheap : )

I took one of mine, twin 3inch rolled tips. I also removed that blasted rev light that ford tacked on.
