i got my tacho for 50 bucks from auto barn.

depends how big you want it. you can get 2 inch ones for like 30 bucks, but they are ghey.

mines about 4, but once you start getting into the 5 3/4 " ones with the big revs they can be as much as 500 bucks

Is the Drift one the one that the Face turns black when its off?

Looks good except for the word DRIFT on it, they had a Drift oil catcher as well which looked nice but it also had the word Drift on it which if you tried to scratch off you would damage the item............bugger!

the crystal display one? looks horn as. a mate done a whole dash using them in his project car, which he actually made himself (at work lol). 500kg car with a 351 anyone? lol.
anyways, as for installation, depends on what car. dont BA's onwards need a splitter which changes signal from the dash to an external one? other than that, use the wiring diagram
