2009 TDCI ford focus DPF

Morning all ,

Wife's ford focus engine warning light has come on , does this model have the DPF ?
She changed jobs were the car use to be driven 1.5 hours each way , now the car only gets driven very short trips.
I usually take it for a run up the highway every 2 weeks, to burn any crap out of the system.
Does anyone own a TDCI ford focus, that's had a tune to delete the EGR ?
Looking for advice/ how to maintain it , now that it's only driven short distance.
