Hi, i have a Ford Capri with a 302w, i am running a C4 with a small stall.
Surprisingly some guys run a Borg warner 8 and three quarter rear end out of old chrysler vehicles or Fords(Falcons Mustangs 70's)generally very strong for use in the smaller cars and lighter, old Chrysler Centura's were good as the whole housing would almost fit straight over on small fords(although finding one now would be very hard.
Generally Ford 9 inch is the main conversion.
