It all makes sense, too. Motoring mentions that the same Ford branch was responsible for the T6 chassis that underpins the current Ranger and Everest. It would be natural for the same division to work on updating the chassis for newer versions and the US-spec vehicles. Motoring does add that the Bronco will have unique styling compared with the Ranger and Everest, and the publication believes the final design will be decided by Ford's American office. Bitter sweet consolation for the Aus team, which are now relegated to a small apartment block in Richmond now, that their T6 is taken seriously and not just a second rate platform delegated to Thailand as it originally was. Now if it all works, maybe Ford Aus may be allowed to reincarnate the Falcon into a USDM model exported to the entire world..
