MB with the power of the engine and fact that he was doing a high speed run with huge temps at speed for the tyres, he was ensuring tyre temps were kept at a minimum early on and only when at speed and needing to get momentum did the driver unleash WOT at a speed that the tyres would not have got uhmm too much of an unnecessary workout
