Alomst certainly it will be a vacuum leak or something simple like that. The motors on our cars are virtually bullet proof however their operation is affected serverly by any sort of leak in the system.
The only other problem could be the dreaded fuel pump issue. Does the car behave thsi way only when low on fuel??
