I can't see any good reason poly being a better option at this application.
Great at sway bar D's link pins pan hard rods but at the top of a strut ? forget it imo, unless its duro is as forgiving as rubber and its NVH rates as rubber whats the use for I haven't known poly getting near the points I mention above.
