I had 253 4spd HQ's back in the 80's, all set up the same way.Lower the front ride height a little. A set of Air shocks for the back fixed the soft rear spring problem, a nice fat sway bar on the front and 8" mags all round and my Q handled quite well on road or dirt. The day I saw the first HQ races from Simmons Plains on the TV I knew I was on the right track because my Kingswood, looked and sat exactly like the racing Q's. I nearly jumped out of my chair in excitement,"LOOK, LOOK, that's my car!!"
