Yeah they go without saying, but a handful of standout models was all that was available. The offerings available in the 1990s dwarfed what was before and after.

Honda, Civic SiR, Intergra, Civic, Accord Type R, NSX,

Subaru WRX, Sti, Legacy RS and GTB, Forester turbo.
