Lets say half the work was done by ford, presume the heat exchanger and manifold and tune, just the testing didnt pass fords standards, all of a sudden it passes? (When ford dont have to officially sign off or anyone provide warranty on the driveline) get ford to sign off if all the work is done? That would hold huge weight.
Is john bowe paid by these guys? Is his word really an independent appraisal?
Im thinking, the testing acts to validate the current tuners intercooler + tune kits? Ie kpm herrod etc.. as they conclude can spin to 7000rpm, enough fuel etc in stock fuel pump / injectors. Im sure the top tuners are not complete mugs and have no idea about tuning?

Rumour goes the problem was chassis/firewall related why it never went into production. The intercooled engine was ready to go.
Ford and FPV argued back and forth who should pay for the body strengthening and couldn't come to an agreement. So it got canned according to some people on here.
