Problem was that new threads weren't being bolded and if the first unread post was on page 5 for example, when I tapped the topic it would take me to page 7 or whatever page had the latest / most recent post.
The odd thing is, after logging in through the browser then going back to tapatalk; it seems to be working ok now. Hopefully it sticks.
