Hmmm, hard one.

If the car is to used as round town proposition, the CVT will be fine. They can actually be quite good at keeping the revs and therefore noise down in gentle, everyday driving.

Thing is, the manual sounds like the one you want, but you will have to wait for someone like yourself to pop up once its time to move it on.

I would go with the CVT...................except I wouldn't because I would choose the torque converter auto Ford Escape or Mazda CX-5
