When the Series 300 comes out soon it has been reported that it will only be available in a petrol(probably 5.7 ltrs) and the Ram and Patrol will be on par with the Toyota.

Ive also heard of one long term Landcruiser owner going to a petrol Landcruiser, as diesels have gotten too complex and expensive to fix. Money isnt an issue for this person but its the reliability as there are some issues with modern diesels now.
