My logbook says a minor service (LV Focus Diesel) takes 1hr 12 minutes. In that service I get a change of oil, a filter and some other fluid 'top up's' if needed. As well as a bunch of 'inspections'....
Capped price $295......
Of course they don't charge $200 an hr....
Unless 6L of oil and a filter costs Ford $165????
I got some work done on my Festiva. Engine swaps (2x out, 1x in, $750), new clutch ($220), coolant ($80), reco gearbox on exchange ($350) and aircon re-gas ($100) for around $1500... no, Ford didn't do it.... Wonder what the price would have been if they did??
