If you can push the plug into the dash then pull it towards you and you should hear a click and it lock in place. Then it shouldn't be able to be pushed back in.
If its not reset then it wont mate properly with the ICC and sometimes give you the problems you're experiencing.
The ICC should also slide in with very little effort. No bangs, clunks, noises or force are necessary. |
it locks on both sides of that plug. so when pulled out make sure both sides are locked not just one.
