My vote goes to the XR5 (instruments aside).
Just 'felt' more luxurious inside, rode better, steered better, similar on-road $$$, better equipment list. Unfortunately, one Ford salesman had to check the brochure when we were discussing colours.

If you could blind fold people and get them to drive and buy the car before seeing a 6 im sure the Mondeo would sell allot better, ive got no doubt its an outstanding car in every way.. but when you look at it beside a 6... Well...
If Mazda ever make an auto diesel 6 they'll dominate the market...
