That's one cool feature of the new LR Defender, you can opt for 'satin paint' and you get a film of protection over the spray colour - it looks a bit like a hobbyist painting a dull coat - and if you scratch it up heaps, you just replace the protective coat. Maybe it's like a plastic film?
Very cool, used to hate the scratches I'd get around the front wheelarch on my old 60.
