Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway.
Top Holden of the Week
Our pick of the week from the lion’s den is this E3 Maloo. As Aussie as they come, the green was on the tree and with a best run of 11.3 @ 127MPH, the gold was in the run down the strip!
Top Ford of the Week
This week’s notable Ford and also the Commentator’s Pick of the week is this FG Falcon. Blowing a boost pipe and still running an 11.1 @ 108MPH, it came back with a vengeance and cracked a huge run of 9.8 @ 145MPH! How’s that for a comeback?
Top Japanese of the Week
This was our pick of the night for the Japanese contingency, a very wide body-kitted Nissan Silvia S15. Amazing work done to the exterior and engine, and it ran great times on the night!
Top Rotary of the Week
This week’s ****el hero is this early series RX7. Clean in white and looking fairly low-key and original, the 12A ran a 12, ay! 12.2 @ 117MPH, to be precise.
Top Euro of the Week
This isn’t your ordinary grocery-getting Golf! AP’s R36-swapped R32 went for the big swing and managed to hit a hole-in-one with his time of 10.8 @ 130MPH!
