Some of these numb-nuts who are ****-canning have to understand they were designed back in the mid-80's, not yesterday, big trucks (KW etc) were just coming to grips with electronic diesel technology, the stuff we are seeing in current 4x4 diesels is all because of the stuff they did with big trucks back then
The GQ's were miles ahead of their competitors at the time, Toyota responded (some time later) with the 80 Series, motor was good but it handled on corners like a bag of wet wheat.
