Throttle controller for 2.0 tdci

Just wondering if any one is using a throttle controller to improve throttle response on their 2.0 tdci?
I did a search but didn't find anything. It's something that the com dore buys seem to love or hate. I was thinking of getting one to try and get rid of some of the lag in the throttle pedal.
