Might be obvious but I was getting the message so popped a new battery in my remote but the message still shows on the dash after starting. I checked the resting voltage of the new battery and it's 3.
4V so not a dud?
And yes, the battery does do what it's supposed to do since I can lock and unlock my car, which I was still able to do with the old battery but the message was annoying and thought best to change it anyway.
Could anything else trigger it?
