P.S, for anyone who is interested the powershift gearbox costs $8,300. Add on two days worth of labour, and it would easily exceed $10k to replace a faulty gearbox out of warranty. Will be definitely looking to extend warranty on this car...

My 2012 Sport has just been back to the dealer for the grinding noise from the gearbox, they did a software upgrade and relearn of the transmission, I was told that if the problem returned it would need a new gearbox, is the new gearbox you have an improved one from the original one, or is the grinding problem likely to return?
