Hey all,
Just picked up my 2012 focus titanium from getting its gearbox replaced due to grinding from 4 into 5 upshift.
During this time, they provided a brand new Ambiente as a loaner. The loaner was so much smoother in gearshifts and there was no jerkiness on lower gears at low RPM.
When I picked up my car it was like night and day. The car is working exactly how it should, no more shudders, no more jerkiness and no more grinding noises.

Don't make excuses for your car, like we have been. If there is something wrong, bring it in for a replacement/check up.

I hope the car is now finally fixed and we won't have anymore issues with this car.

P.S, for anyone who is interested the powershift gearbox costs $8,300. Add on two days worth of labour, and it would easily exceed $10k to replace a faulty gearbox out of warranty. Will be definitely looking to extend warranty on this car...
