Not cheap .. The school one was well north of 20K bought new . It's a pretty big mower too with 60" deck .

I'm not qualified to use it because I only help do the grounds this year due to losing my usual work from a five million dollars Major Works program that now nearing finishing . It requires a full induction course apparently to let the DoE to train me to use the Toro . All I do is normal push mowing/brushcutting/ trimming . Same thing with chainsaws . I'd need to do the full training course on them to use them . Fair enough I suppose.
If they changed my role permanently I would mandatorily have to do these courses such as being an Education Dep't employee with a myriad of PL courses we are required to do .

Same thing applies with our vehicles . They lease a Pajero and a Toyota mini bus . Until the drivers safety course is done we cannot drive either of them off the precinct other than moving them for washing which I have to do each Monday morning if not booked out .

I have used the local golf club Toro though a few times and it's a ripper to operate .
