Diesels are great for long haul or heavy loads or both.

Yes the petrol versions use more fuel, but they are cheaper to run in every other way. And if your stop start, modern diesels with EGR & DPF are a disaster. Anything less than 25,000 km per annum and there is no benefit.


If your were set on a RAM you for towing youcould always pay the extra and get a 2500 with the Cummins diesel.
